Honda Civic Power Liftgate Lift Assist System, Electric Lift System
Electric Life ''state of the art'' Tailgate Kits open and close tailgates on all trucks using the latest remote control technology. Providing additional security and value to any truck, these easy to install Universal Power Tailgate Lift Kits open and close your tailgate by simply pressing a button on the remote. Installation is designed for the do-it-yourself and comes with tough universal brackets and a heavy duty ''screw-type'' Linear Actuator that provides up to 250 pound lifting capacity for the heaviest of tailgates. Electrical hookup has never been easier, with a Keyless Entry Module and a Plug and Play Harness. This reliable system will out perform a hydraulic system without all the complicated plumbing and upkeep. Everything is included in the kit including Control Module, Plug and Play Harness along with mounting brackets and hardware plus easy to understand instructions.
Remark:
1.The alarm sounds 5 times, the electric suction lock is opened or not closed tightly: 1)Check whether the electric suction control cable is connected correctly or is damaged. 2)Check if there is abnormal noise during the electric suction lock works. If there is abnormal noise, need to change the electric suction lock machine. |
2.The alarm only appears when the door is closed: 1)Check whether the lock is installed too much inside. 2)Check if the electric suction lock wire is pulled too tightly. Please pull it loose. 3)Check whether the suction lock is bent or caught by foreign matter, resulting in the cable being stuck. Please arrange the cable properly. 4)Check whether the suction lock rack is jammed by foreign objects. 5)Check if there is foreign matter stuck it during the electric suction lock works. |

6.The alarm sounds 20 times, motor current over limit value: 1)Manually close the door or restart the electric tailgate controller. If it cannot b e restored, replace the controller. |
7.The alarm sounds 25 times, motor drive circuit failure: 1)Check if there is a short circuit in rod control cable and the electric suction lock control cable. 2)Check if the rod or electric suction lock is operating normally. 3)Replace the electric tailgate controller. |
8.The alarm sounds 30 times, double pole balance warning: 1)Check if the strut ball head is out. 2)Measure whether the left and right rod strokes are the same. 3)Check if the tailgate if deformed. 4)Check whether the left and right rod cables are connected properly and whether the rod control cable connector is damaged. 5)Replace the rods. 6)Replace the electric tailgate controller. |
